2. Hosting and server log files

When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically collects technical information transmitted by your browser (so-called server log files): IP address, date and time of the request, page accessed, browser and operating system used, referrer URL. This data is required for the technical operation of the website (e.g. to deliver the page and detect faults) and is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website).

3. Using the PNT Editor

The image converter processes your uploaded image entirely locally in your browser. It is never transmitted to our server or to third parties, nor is it stored.

To improve the user experience, the website stores a few settings exclusively in your browser (localStorage), including your language selection, your history of recently used images, and your cookie preferences. This data never leaves your device and is technically necessary for the core functionality; no separate consent is required for this under § 25 (2) No. 2 TTDSG. You can delete this data at any time via your browser settings.

4. Matomo Analytics (consent-based)

If you have agreed to the "Analytics" category in the cookie banner, we use Matomo (provided via data.instance.pro) to analyze website usage in a non-identifying way (e.g. pages viewed, time spent, referral sources). The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (1) TTDSG. You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

5. Google AdSense (consent-based)

If you have agreed to the "Marketing" category in the cookie banner, we display advertisements via the Google AdSense service (Google Ireland Limited or Google LLC, USA). This may set cookies and transfer data, potentially to the USA. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (1) TTDSG.
